The High Country Trail Saddle we designed in 2017 to provide a compact, short-skirted, light weight but very strong option for trekking. It is between 15kg & 16kg depending on the number of dees, strings, fender length and the stirrups chosen.   The horn is big enough to comfortably wrap your hand around and is roping certified if you need to pony another horse off it or even hold onto a bull!  The seat is a medium depth giving security and comfort without being too restrictive.  Bear in mind that it does not ride as deep as the bare 4-1/4"cantle as the seat has 1" high quality foam in it.  You need to sit in this saddle to appreciate the balanced position and comfort it provides.  This design is sometimes in stock and available for immediate delivery.

Price $3750 inc GST   This price includes the saddle, 4 leather strings, your choice of stirrups, all leather latigos, stamped rear billets and a rear roper cinch and attachment strap.

The seat is super comfy, very close contact, with an amazingly narrow feel in the twist for such a wide tree beneath.
